Dental Hygiene/Therapy

Detection

Examination, to detect presence of decay/cavities
possible xrays if necessary/required
gum assessments to diagnose healthy/unhealthy gums

Gum treatments

Professional mechanical plaque removal using specialised equipment and hand instruments to:
Reverse gingivitis (mild gum disease) inflammation and bleeding.
Possibly prevent the progress of poor general health, as well as advanced gum disease that can lead to eventual tooth loss.
Maintain good gum health by regular 6 monthly to 1 yearly visits.

Air - polishing

For heavy stain removal, as a possible alternative to tooth whitening. Not to be used on people with respiratory problems and other health conditions including pregnant women. Appointments made only by advise of a clinician.

Prevent/Restore/Educate

Prophylaxis/preventive treatment includes flouride, and fissure sealant application. Restorative treatments includes removal of decay, and fillings, all done within the clinicians scope of practice, for both adults and children. Education includes information about general health, oral health and gum disease, instruction on good oral hygiene habits/brushing/flossing, and dietary advice, as well as smoking cessation.

Comprehensive Oral and Overall Health Assessment

Discover a new level of holistic care with our combined dental hygiene and phlebotomy services. 
By incorporating blood tests into your dental appointment, our experienced nurse will provide phlebotomy services for a deeper understanding of your overall well-being. This additional service is available as part of our deluxe package or can be booked independently.

Our phlebotomist will expertly draw a small blood sample, ensuring your comfort and safety. The sample is then carefully packaged and transported to a certified laboratory for analysis.
Please note: A valid request from a qualified doctor or practitioner is necessary for blood tests.

Please note – having opened very recently, we shall be providing therapy services in due course.  Please call or email for more information as therapy work can be done on an appointment only and needs basis.

Therapy treatments includes simple fillings that are not too invasive, fissure sealants and flouride applications for both children and adults.  Extractions can be done only on baby teeth.

Please provide clear treatment instructions by your inhouse/outhouse dental professional, if you are being referred.

Pricing

Pay by card after treatment

Basic/regular Package

Single session

£ 60-200 / session

A basic single/initial session: Times required: 20, 30, 45 minutes or 1 hour. Treatments involved are based on complexity of the case, your response and tolerance to the treatment required. Examples of treatments required: Basic gum examination, initial professional plaque removal with ultrasonic and handinstruments and possibly a normal polish.

Full-On Package

Double hygiene session - from 1 to 2 hours

£ 180-400 / session

This is usually the follow-up to an initial or first appointment. This appointment, may, for example, consist of a full oral health assessment - this means identifying plaque/biofilm retentive areas around teeth and gums, using a disclosing solution. Recording the bleeding and measurement of gums 6 points around each tooth, to identify ' areas of active disease, and pocketing. Treatment: involves regular/ deep cleaning. Airpolishing can be included. Oral hygiene, dietary and healthy lifestyle choices are usually discussed.

Deluxe Package

Gum and Health assessments, cleaning, airpolishing

£ 280-460 / session

This is a session that can provide everything in one visit after an initial check/consultation and agreement to what you would like. It includes a full gum and health assessment (blood testing or general health check by a qualified and registered nurse). Airpolishing may be provided if required/preferred. We can book you in for of 1-3 hours, depending on complexity of the case, response and tolerance to treatment of the client. This will be agreed on an initial appointment.
